Cashback Movie

Its kind of funny when you do a search for cashbacks, because it brings up this movie that came out in '06, but I somehow doubt that's what people are really looking for when searching cashback. Interesting tagline... "Sometimes Love Lets You Keep The Change"?

So if you're interested in the trailer for Cashback, here it is...

But if you're interested in an online shopping cashback, I recommend Quidco. I tried quidco, along with greasypalms, topcashback, and rpoints, and would strongly recommend Quidco over the rest.

As for the movie, I still haven't seen it so I don't have much to offer there. It's a Sean Ellis film and looks promising...

What is a Cashback anyway?

While the name implies plenty, it isn't always clear just what a cashback is.

Did you know you can earn money on your purchases? Cashback sites (also called Reward sites) earn a commission when you shop through them, and they share that commission with you. Hence, you can earn cashback on 1000s of online retailers when you shop!

You don't always need to spend money to earn. You can also get paid to sign up to advertisers' offers, participate in polls, refer friends etc. There are many cashback rewards websites to choose from, but the top would be...

  1. Quidco Cashback
  2. Rpoints
  3. Topcashback
  4. GreasyPalm
  5. MutualPoints

The above Top 5 Cashback sites are based on information from Alexa.com and Cashbacknews.

Cashback benefits

Going through cashback sites can help save £100's of pounds each year depending on how much you spend online.

There are various ways of earning cashback which will be explained in more detail below.

Getting Started
Set up an account with one of the cashback sites below (or all as this can help you earn/save more money!) in the Plexo links & make an online purchase with one of the hundreds of companies (such as Amazon, Ebay etc.) as you would normally. The transactions are then tracked by the site & you are then paid cashback for purchasing through the site.

How does it work?
Cashback sites work together with online companies in a form of advertising. Most online websites with banners etc. are paid when someone clicks on them. Cashback sites are paid in the same way but share this commission with you.

Cashback
Cashback can be paid as a set amount (usually with insurance or subscriptions) or a % of the purchase (buying music, dvd's, electrical equipment).
This will vary from company to company but can make something you were already purchasing a lot cheaper.

Examples:

1. You want to buy a DVD from play.com, play.com pay a percentage as commission and cashback is(say 5%). If you paid £10 for a DVD then you can then earn £0.50p in cashback. This may not seem like a lot but do this 10 times and its a free £5!

2. Your looking for car insurance and see admiral are the cheapest, going though a cashback site you can earn (say £100) in cashback which is helps towards saving money on your insurance.

Other ways to earn cashback
1. Daily Clicks - A lot of the cashback sites have daily clicks (clicks which you can do on a daily basis offering (say 5p) for clicking on a search link. Doing this a set number of times a day at the different cashback sites can earn you an easy £15-£20 per week providing you have the patience.

2. Free trials - You can earn extra money by siging up to free trials. These can in effect pay you to take up the trial when using a cashback site. For example there may be an offer for a magazine trial of 4 issues for £1, now if this is a magazine you are interested in you can pay the £1 and receive 4 free issues which in itself is a bargin. With a cashback site there is the added bonus of being paid cashback (say £4) for taking up the trial meaning you are being paid to read the magazines!
